Mr. Ranjan Kumar Guha, Director, has been working in Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD), for more than 28 years. He is involved in imparting training, conducting research, and action research in different areas of rural development. He did his master’s in Management from the University of Dhaka and did his second master’s in Agriculture and Rural Development from Hankyong National University, South Korea. He has more than 30 publications in the form of books, journal articles, and seminar papers. Mr. Guha presented several papers on rural poverty at different international conferences. He led a research project namely Local Level Poverty Monitoring System (LLPMS) sponsored by IDRC Canada through CBMS Network Philippines and was involved in different researches sponsored by ISST, India, EATA Foundation, Spain, and other organizations at home and abroad as co-researchers. He has also contibuted to different international training programme as guest Speaker. Recently, an international online Training Workshop on Poverty Alleviation through Micro Finance: State of Art in COVID-19 was designed and organized as programme director in collaboration with AARDO. His areas of interest includes development Management, Project Management, Rural Development, Training Management, etc. Recently, he has leaded a government sponsored project namely Development Physical Facilities of BARD.
