Bhabatosh Nath has more than 40 years’ experience in Development Programmes comprising design, implementation, management and evaluation of projects in National, International, Donor and Government organizations. Emphasis has been on capacity building and grassroots’ participation in human development and economic development programme, working experience with civil society, government ministries and departments, evaluation of projects/ programs and organizations including impact study and Project Cycle Management (PCM), Participatory M&E, Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA). For many years, he worked with BRAC and with Save the Children in field as well as country headquarter positions.

Mr. Nath has development cooperation and working experience with EU, has experience on Evaluation of grant proposals (of EU and other donors) /Project appraisal.

In 1994, he started   his   own   development   consultancy firm “Responsive to Integrated Development Services (RIDS). He has been conducting numerous external program evaluations, project appraisal, baseline surveys, feasibility studies, program audits for national, international, donor and government organizations. He has expertise particularly in the areas of institution building, CBOs, livelihoods, children and women’s rights. He has work experiences in Bangladesh, Nepal, Srilanka and Uganda.

Mr. Nath is a founder member (International) and Governing Board Member of Community of Evaluators -South Asia (CoE-SA); Chairman Community of Evaluators- Bangladesh (CoE- Bangladesh, He also holds the positionof Vice President of Bangladesh Evaluation Society (BES); Member- Gender and Evaluation Network; Member- Asia Pacific Evaluation Association (APEA); Member- IOCOM; Member- IDEAS (International Development Evaluation Association); SEA Change, and Monitoring & Evaluation Professionals (International).

Nath holds a M.Sc. in Statistics, and a diploma in development management from the Asian Institute of Management in the Philippines.
